A gloomy end to the summer

The first in a string of hiccups in August. The upsides of this one were we'd renewed our RAC cover the day before and the boys got to travel back home in a low-loader. At the time I did also think it saved me the stress of driving back on the motorways and also the petrol money, but two weeks without a car and the final bill from the garage wiped out any positive spin on this.

For details of the dramas that followed, including the reason I closed down my blog for a while, email me!
